Update

Just wanted to let everyone know that yesterday the house next door to us "his house" has obviously been bought as the for sale sign is no longer out in the yard and we have noticed a lot of activity in the past week or so. Hopefully it will be a good thing although it will still be difficult for us to see anyone over there in that house. Sunday Feb. 24

Today was a great day, it is so nice being able to plan to do things with the family since Bob is now off every Sunday because Precision Tune is closed. Today I let everyone sleep in until 10am( except Dakota he spent the night over at a friends house and stayed there all day today cause they had a big blowup bouncy thing in their backyard) while I got up at 8am brewed some coffee and got to catch up on some of my recorded shows uniterupted. It was very relaxing and quiet. Two things that usually don't go together in this house. Anyways after everyone got up and dressed we went to Buffaloe Lanes in Raleigh to go bowling. There we had lunch and I was getting my butt kicked in bowling by a 3 & 4 year old.. not good. I finally did come back to end up in second under Bob. After that we went to Super Target so I could by a new weigh scale, since I am starting on a new diet and definately need something accurate, the scale we had Bob got before we met which would be over 7 years now. Then we came home and Skylar and Dylan played with playdough and Bob and I relaxed until he got a phone call from a guy he works with and needed Bob to help him get his truck back home. So Bob went back into Raleigh for that and in the meantime I played with the kids and put dishes away. On Bob's way back home he stopped at the store and picked up fresh chicken, noodles, and alfredo sauce then came home and cooked dinner. I really lucked up when I met him. A good man who can cook, clean, and sometimes help out with the kids is very hard to find.
Dylan has fallen asleep early so I hope he will sleep all night, he has a tendency to wake up around 2am and stay up until 4 or 5am when he goes to bed early. I hope that is not the case tonight. Well I better go and try and get Skylar to settle down and get her ready for bed. Back to work and school tomorrow so I'll be up early.

Thursday Feb. 7

Today is a slow day so far, the kids were up most of the night. Dylan fell asleep around 9pm last night and woke up around 1am and decided that he wanted to stay awake. Meanwhile Skylar had jsut It is now 11:34am and the kids are of course sleeping. Dylan was awake around 7:30am ate breakfast and then fell back asleep. Meanwhile I was trying to get Dakota to gather his things for school only to find out that he left his shoes outside last night and it rained so of course they were wet and then we had trouble finding a replacement pair of shoes which almost caused him to miss the bus.
After all that I decided I would try and go back to bed to get some well deserved rest. After laying there for about 15 minutes I had a coughing attack and couldn't get any sleep after that so I went ahead and got up. It was kind of nice being able to relax and watch TV without any interuptions, but in a way I was lonely. I tried playing some games on the computer but that didn't help either. I guess I will go ahead and get them up and try and do something today so I can feel like I accomplished something. lol
